October 31st, 2007

Hi Friends!!!

We had always asked about how can we have a financial independence? How can I max my income and that I want to retire at age of 40..

Yes in today’s fast moving world, anything seems possible and within the ken of the common man. Even if you plan a holiday at moon in 2015 it seems possible to me, at least.

Still.., you have some targets and loads of desires to get on with today’s break-neck speed of life. You are……… oooooopps, We are very much accustomed to get the things done and every new day we have something in mind to get it done, even a little task.

Apart from this, the BUSY WORLD has snatched from us, our time from family and our interest areas and our hobbies. Just ask yourself honestly.. what do you do for yourself??? For bettering yourself and enjoyment? Do I really have any hobby??

I am sure many of us will get some strange answers from ourselves. Even I got it, when I tried this exercise.

So, with an intention to make a future life more pleasant and lively, I have divided this blog in 2 part series.

I know its too early to decide.., but give me some idea about WHAT WOULD YOU DO, IF YOU HAD NOTHING TO DO??

And tomorrow, I will share some handy tips. Which would help you to decide on what to do, when u have nothing to do in your life.

Awaiting some inputs from you readers,

9 Tips to improve the morning!!

October 30th, 2007

Every morning you get up, it’s a new day and you want to make it better a new way!!! Isn’t it???

Yes, even I like to make it better and the best day of my life. So just thinking on it, thought some tips to improve the mornings, the best and the decider part of the day.

Just make your mornings best and the day will follow...

Here is how to do it:-

1. Last thing before going to bed, tidy up your room. You would never like to clean up your place in morning or see a mess, and start up your day.
2. Always keep keys, wallet, phone, etc. in there places. If you do not find them in morning, you will go mad and yelling at all in house.
3. Always, always, always make the bed.
4. Sing—even for just a minute—when you wake up.
5. Take a few minutes to stretch.
6. Read a good book or an inspiring article within 1st half hour of you getting up.
7. Finish your daily chores 10 mins before you leave and sit calm for those 10 mins.
8. Listen to your favourite music before leaving for your work. (You can do it on the way if you can avail that facility.)
9. The most important tip… follow the schedule for at least 21 days. Then u get addicted to it.

So just rock, and make your mornings more rejuvenating and rocking.

Make yours and others lives more better and experience the difference.

Tushar.

Naam bade aur darshan chote!!!!

October 28th, 2007

Every one of us is well aware of and is a consumer of Microsoft. We use MS Office, windows, internet explorer and Media player from this company. But here is the realty behind it.

Schools should not sign software licensing deals with Microsoft because of the computer giant's alleged anti-competitive practices.”
- British Educational and Technological Agency (BECTA)

The BECTA has complained to the Office of Fair Trading, saying talks have not resolved its "fundamental concerns" about academic licensing of the company's Windows Office 2007 and Vista operating systems.
Thousands of schools already use Microsoft software but BECTA claims that new licensing arrangements are too restrictive.

Microsoft insists that schools pay for a licence for every PC on the premises which might use its software, regardless of whether teachers plan to do so at the time of signing a contract. Whereas, generally the school edition is always comprehensive of all the PCs and there is no recurring cost after initial outlay.

Previously

The European Commission's decision is to fine Microsoft a record £343m for using the dominance of its Windows operating system to stifle the progress of its competitors. After a nine-year legal battle, the US computer giant may now have to concede defeat and comply fully with the demands from Brussels.

The commission found the software company guilty of using its strength to gain an unfair advantage over its competitors in two ways.

1 It was found to be using its dominant Windows operating system to force its software packages such as Media Player on to PC users, stifling the progress of competing products, such as RealNetworks' RealPlayer or Apple's QuickTime player.

2 The commission concluded that Microsoft was not providing rivals with the information necessary for them to develop software compatible with its Windows operating systems.

It was later criticised for charging its rivals too much for the information. Microsoft also racked up a fine of £195m last year for ignoring this EU's 2004 judgment.

What shall you sow, so shall you reap!!

October 27th, 2007

IF you want an apple, why would you sow a cactus in the soil.??

Soil has a beautiful quality of reaping whatever comes to it. Its neutral to all, just like our mothers. She is equivocal for all her kids.

Anecdote

A baker in a little countryside town bought the butter he used from a nearby farmer (who is also made some dairy products). One day he suspected that the brick of butter were not full 500gms, and for several days he weighed them.

He was right. They were short of weight, and he had the farmer arrested for this.

At the trial the judge said to the farmer, "I presume you have standard weights?"

"No, your honor."

"Then how do you manage to weigh the butter you sell?" inquired the judge.

The farmer replied, "That's easily explained, your honor. I have balances and for a weight (tarazu in hindi) I use a 500gms of bread-loaf I buy from the baker."

World is a reactive place. As the law of Newton says:-

For every action, there is equal and opposite reaction”

Same applies to life. When you want to get 100% output, how can you rely on 90% input.?

INDIA Rocking !!!!

October 26th, 2007

India Marching ahead of world.

THERE IS some good news for the Indians as the International Institute for Environment and Development, a UK-based policy research non-governmental body released a report featuring as many as 11 Indian cities, which have made it into the list of 100 fastest growing cities in the world.

Faridabad picked up the sixth position, followed by Durg-Bhilai in Chhattisgarh, which is known for a massive steel plan.

Even emerging cities like Guwahati, Bhopal, Aurangabad, Surat, Dhanbad, Visakhapatnam and Asansol have found a place in the list. And of course, there is Ghaziabad, another city in the National Capital Region.

India is just next to China in this list of upcoming cities. The report also says, “if China and India continue to enjoy economic success, they may have larger urban populations in 2020 than those predicted by the United Nations.

If we look back in time, we will see that the richest nations have had the highest number of urban population.

Interestingly, the balance has tilted of late. Now, Africa has more people living in urban areas than North America. Reason behind this is simple: people have now become more conscious regarding their socio-economical status. With amazing advancement in science and technology, easy access to mobile and Internet, people know about anything and everything in a matter of seconds.

10 Rules for the Good Life !!!

October 25th, 2007

Life has been a very good journey for me till now. It had taken me from roads and places where I never thought I would have been.

Here is what have been learned and adapted from a beautiful write up by Mr. Thomas Jefferson, useful for all of us.

10 Rules for the Good Life

+Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

+Never trouble another for what you can do yourself.

+Never spend your money before you have it.

+Never buy what you do not want because it is cheap; it
will never be dear to you.

+Pride/Ego costs us more than hunger, thirst, and cold.

+Never repent of having eaten too little.

+Nothing is troublesome that we do willingly.

+Don't let the evils which have never happened cost you pain.

+Always take things by their smooth handle.

+When angry, count to ten before you speak; if very angry, count to one hundred.

Make Your Choice!!!!

October 24th, 2007

An Anecdote,

A little child was playing one day with a very valuable vase. He put his hand into it and could not withdraw it. His father too, tried his best, but all in vain. They were thinking of breaking the vase when the father said, "Now, my son, make one more try. Open your hand and hold your fingers out straight as you see me doing, and then pull."

To their astonishment the little fellow said, "O no, father. I couldn't put my fingers out like that, because if I did I would drop my penny."

See you are smiling now!!! Isn’t it???

We, like that innocent little boy who are holding the world’s worthless belongings.

Just give up with the worthless things in the world, it would surely make a difference. See the bigger picture and not the small gains. Not only you, but even others get happy when they see u free. Just as the Dad was happy seeing his child free from the Vase.

LIFE doesn’t come with instruction manual!!!

October 23rd, 2007

"I Wished I knew this and quick fix the problem I am facing right now!!!!" a daily comment.

Our life is full of commitments and the goals about the things we want to acquire. We prefer different ways to achieve similar goals. These goals, whether financial independence, achieving desired results or making a difference in the world where we exist are self made.

Some one or the other, may be responsible for inspiring us and then to guide us. But it is us who decides about it.

The life, which is a journey through the roads of hurdles and obstacles makes us the better person from yesterday.

AS said earlier, LIFE doesn’t come with instruction manual and troubleshooting steps. We take the decisions and then learn from the experiences. That makes our Manual and the trouble shooter.

But, if we stop experimenting and learning, we land nowhere. AS said by wise men, “THE DAY YOU STOP LEARNING, YOU ARE DEAD”

Make your own manual!!!!

A Contradictory LIFE's, LIVE example.!

October 22nd, 2007

Dear Readers,

WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY DASERA!!!

Before we go further, let us know why is Dassehra celebrated. And for this post I think its necessary to know it before hand.

The festival of Dassehra, also known as Vijayadashmi, is one of the fascinating festivals of India and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. According to the great Hindu scripture and Mythology, the Ramayana, Lord Rama performed chandi-puja (holy prayer). This was carried out in order to invoke the blessings of Durga Maa for the killing of Ravana, the ten-headed demon king of Sri Lanka who had abducted Seeta, wife of Lord Rama.

Durga Maa narrated the secret to Rama on how he could slay the great Ravana. Hence upon vanquishing the demon Ravana, Lord Rama with Sita and younger brother Laxmana, returned victorious to his kingdom of Ayodhya on the day which is called 'Diwali'. Revelers across northern India re-enact the legend at sundown in a performance called the Ramlila, featuring actors dressed as Rama shooting flaming arrows at effigies stuffed with firecrackers.

NOW WHAT I EXPERIENCED Recetly:-

As per the scriptures RAVANA was the villain in the story, whereas the RAM is the HERO.

Today, when we recall of the Dassehra day we always recall the fireworks and the lighting sky. People, or I should say hordes of people gather to see the effigy of Ravana burn. Even I did see it. And follwing are some comments I heard in the crowd, making it a thought evoking thing”

A Small boy maybe 6-7 yrs says to his mom; Ravana must have been hero, his statue is far much bigger than Rama at the temple near our home”.

Another Kid asking his father,” DAD why are we here??” and he gets the reply “To see the FIREWORKS”

Still another girl asks his cousin hey bro!! Ravana seems more important than Rama, we and almost 5k people are here 2 hours before, and seeing the initial fireworks which seems good. WE never took so long even to have DARSHAN of lord RAMA at the temple next to our home.

Isn’t it a CONTRADICTION ???

DO YOU NEED TO KNOW THEM ALL??

October 19th, 2007

Information superhighway, Newspapers, Magazines, Flyers, Phone calls, Sms’s and what not????

In this speeding world of information technology, we have various sources of information, which keep on piling on us. No doubt they are wonderful and the best in its own kind, also beneficial in some way or the other.

But an important question arises, DO YOU REALLY WANT THAT INFORMATION???

Being a voracious reader, reading anything and piling up, without actually having use of it is a dangerous thing to do. It is as good as swallowing loads of food and not chewing it. Even if you have half of what you swallow by chewing, the purpose is served.

Time is non-renewable resource. You can either invest it or spend it. The better you invest the more you get returns and the more you spend, the lesser in pot remains for you.

Some Reading tips:-

1. Ask yourself before reading, Do I really need to read this??

2. Make a list of pleasure reading and useful reading. Useful reading (Inspirational books should be done at the most productive time of the day, and the pleasure reading (magazines and newspapers) at the spare time (commuting, hearing to music or sitting with family seeing the idiot box.

3. Go on NEWS FASTING. Try to leave the local newspaper for 7 days at a stretch, and then see what did you miss out. After that you would be able to rate what to read and what to leave at newspapers.

4. Do not complete whatever you read. You can leave them in between if u feel it isn’t worthy. (even I find it difficult, but trying to better it)

5. Lastly, clear your Cupboard every fortnightly. Do not keep on piling the materials, read it and let it go away. If you feel it’s important and that might be useful, file it. Have different file for all your matters.

Still you must be having many more, if possible, share them with other readers of this Blog.

And yes CONGRATULATIONS to all the visitors of the Blog!!! We complete 250 hits on this Blog, even before a month ( or say less than 25 posts)

Frustrated???

October 19th, 2007

Yes, in today’s cut throat competition we do face various things, and give inputs every now and then. The destiny seems to be farther than ever and we think we need to travel more. The mankind in which we exist, was tried to make simpler with the inventions and the discoveries, but in fact, they have created more aspirations and further frustrations and also the source of inspiration the mankind.

As the cause and effect relationship, frustration leads to new invention as a new source of income and in return, the hunger for material things grows on. The Hunger again goes on to create frustration, bringing out the best in humans.

But during the process, the important part of frustration is wasted. More than 70% of frustration is wasted out in an unproductive or silly way.

As said by noted men “ENERGY can neither be created NOR be destroyed, it only transforms from one type to another”. Same is the case with frustration, when we don’t transform it in a productive type, it gets wasted and transforms in a filthy acting energy.

UTILISE FRUSTRATION:-

We have frustration that, we should have done it this way, or the other. But practically this did not happen.

The best way to utilise frustration is to simplify the things, instead of making it complicated and SHOWING OFF.

Other best way to route frustration is to engage in some physical activity like any sport, jogging or weight lifting. They bring out the best performances in us and also we develop the skills for the sport.

There might be still many of it..
Would you like to suggest some?? Do comment on this, so it helps the other readers.

WHAT’S YOUR STORY?

October 18th, 2007

Why do I say story and narrate a fiction??? Does that serve the purpose and are we small kids to hear and tell stories??? These are the common question arising in everybody’s mind.

Yes, Story does serve the purpose. And even this is true that we are always lead by the examples and they carry us towards the goals we perceive.

Did you ever give a thought, why we had some stories in English, Hindi and Marathi Languages at schools. The happenings, which are a part of our day to day lives, become the stories for life.

Some benefits of Stories:-

+ Kids get to know about the happenings and what the world is all about.

+ Impact:- Often Good Stories are narrated to kids at night, as Science has proved, the things which are told before sleeping has an PROCESSING effect at night, and they get instilled in ones mind forever.

+ Young generations do not want to believe Mythologies and some supernatural things. They want some thing that can actually go through and happen. Stories serve the purpose. Youngsters go ahead getting ready to face situations for their goal achievement.

+ Older Humans have seen the world, and at the end of their working age, they loose all the motivations and inspirations. Stories lead by examples and inject a fascination for their hobbies and likings.

Still don’t believe me….. here’s what experts say…

Storytelling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world today.
~Robert McKee

Storytelling reveals meaning without committing the error of defining it.
~Hannah Arendt

Don’t say the old lady screamed—bring her on and let her scream.
~Mark Twain

Stories are the single most powerful weapon in a leader’s arsenal.
~Howard Gardner, Harvard University

Stories tell us of what we already knew and forgot, and remind us of what we haven’t yet imagined.
~Anne Watson

You have to understand, my dears, that the shortest distance between truth and a human being is a story.
~Anthony de Mello

8 WORTHY Reasons, to be an Entrepreneur

October 17th, 2007

Lets see its definition 1st.
Entrepreneur:-One who undertakes a commercial venture.

A lot of young aspirants ask this question: Why should I become an entrepreneur? Is it worth all the trouble of going through hardships and uncertainties of starting my own business? What if I fail?

Here are the top reasons according to me why you should be an entrepreneur:

1. The number one top reason is also the reason why most of us are afraid to be an entrepreneur. To experience the uncertain journey on Entrepreneurship. You have one short life, and if you do not give a shot at it, you are missing out on a great experience. As always said, journey is more enjoyable than destination.

2. To bring out the inner strength within yourself, which is rooted deep inside somewhere. That reserve of strength will bring out a new and confident you.

3. To value your own skills and strengths, instead of giving off cheaply by working for someone else.

4. To be an inspiration and example for others. Even if you inspire one individual, it is worth the pain (of course with other benefits included in it.)

5. To be creative. Yes, when you walk on the entrepreneurship path, the creative side of yours will surface in most unexpected ways.

6. To make a difference in lives of others. When you are an entrepreneur you will have the power of making a difference in the life of your employees, friends and customers.

7. To be happy. To love life and to love self. If you don’t work for 6 days a week, you will not value the day called SUNDAY. The harder you work, the harder you party and vice-versa.

8. And finally, to create wealth. Yes, this is important, but it is the last reason. All the above 7 reasons will give you much more satisfaction than this 8th reason.

So??? What are you waiting for?? Go ahead and look what will your enterprise be?
Enjoy the “ENTREPRENEURSHIP”

The OBSTACLES in your ROAD!!!

October 16th, 2007

Once upon a time, there lived a very wise king in the state, what is now called as Madhya Pradesh. He had thought of an wonderful idea to judge his people and the courtiers.

The king had placed a heavy rock on the roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it.

Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the big stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. On approaching the rock, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.

As the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the rock had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the king indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the rock-barrier from the roadway. The peasant learned what many others never understand.

MORAL

Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve one's condition. So try to solve a problem than just jumping from it. The wisest lesson from the life comes from trying to solve something.

Give a shot to it, maybe even though we are not able to solve the problem, we learn something useful in life.

What WORTH ARE YOU???

October 15th, 2007.

Its Crap man!!! I have done shit of my life!!! I am not even worth a penny!!! I have ruined it all after this failed venture!!!

Very often we think the same after our failures… isn’t it??? Yes its Human (to err is to human). But hold on.. Read the following and then you would realise what WORTH are you??

Anecdote.

A well known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a Rs. 500 note. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like to have this Rs. 500 note?"
Hands started going up.

He said, "I am going to give this rs. 500 to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple that Rs. 500 note.

He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?" And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.

He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty. "Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth Rs. 500. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. You are special - Don't ever forget it!
So just go out and try to make a difference in your own way.
Give a shot to it, it will not decrease your value.

MUSIC!!!! USE IT !!!

October 12th, 2007

What a Soothing effect it has, I am so relieved after hearing to this wonderful piece of classic.. This is comment by major people in their forties and fifties.

Yes music has been an essence of everyone’s life these days. We are lucky to have an age old history of music. We belong to the land where music has always been flowing through the veins of all men and women, and not barring the children and adolescent.

Our culture has been very rich and one of the oldest in the human history. Music is also a part of it. As there was the conversion of apes to human beings, the noise of drums had converted to a soothing music for ears delight.

Bollywood every year gives almost 1000 songs and pieces of music and keep on adding to it. Not only this, but also the known artistes give their albums and classics to human race. Many of those are entertaining and yes few are also inspiring ones. These inspiring ones give the boost to all generations to give the best they have.

As you all must be aware, that music is used even in agriculture for quick growth of plants. But I am sure, very rarely people know that rock and hard music even killed the plants when experimented. Whereas, the soft and Classical music created a positive impact.

Music has been used as a special therapy to cure human illness like stress, insomnia, depression and even low blood pressure.

But all roses come with thorns. So does the musical rose. It is the music which can also cause depression and similar other kind of illness. The main drawback is its addiction. It was studied that, when exposed to similar music for brainwashing of humans, they got addicted to it and then refused to get brainwashed without the music.

So all in all, one conclusion can be drawn.
“ANYTHING IN MODERATION IS HEALTHY.”

Doctors prescription for a healthy life:-

+ Rocking and inspiring songs for 10 mins in the morning.
+ Light Music in noon (if possible at your workplace)
+ Classical music at night for 10 mins, before sleeping.

ENJOY the song of LIFE with the MUSIC OF LIFE.

Tushar.

MOVIES !!! MASTI!!! MAGIC!!!

October 11th, 2007

Kya acting kiya hai boss!!! Ek number hero hai who aaj ka!!! Uski koi movie ka 1st day ticket nahi mila yaar!!!

Yes, we all exist in the world, where movie has been a very huge source of entertainment. Even in Cricket crazy nation like India, bollywood has by and large occupied a prime position in the place of entertainment.

Just as I was asked by some youngsters to write about Movies, I thought why not give It a shot. After all even I get crazy about movies some times.

ENTERTAINMENT VALUE:-
Nothing to say much about it, as it has always thought to be a source of entertainment, it has been doing so since its inception.

Movies like SHOLAY, DON, DEEWAR, RAM LAKHAN and ANAND, in the past have created good histories and affected lot many lives.

EDUCATIONAL VALUE:-

+Yes, they form as a great part of educational value. As pictures are worth a 1000 words, the film has everything live, so its worth 100,000 words.
+Sholay has become an educational part, by coming into textbooks.
+ Extreme imaginations like in movie MATRIX, NEXT, SPEED, ALL BOND MOVIES and etc, surely inspires the young generations for some new inventions.
+ If someone wants to better his English and English speaking abilities, I would suggest him to watch JHANKAR BEATS, a good blend of Music, entertainment and source of learning.

The important part is, it has given birth to many other fields like publicity, editing, photography, animation and various other things. It provides a vast choice of Careers to the younger generation. The best part is they pay hefty amounts for that.

HUMAN VALUES:-

I am sure that movies have played an important part in instilling the human values like FRIENDSHIP, DEDICATION, LOVE FOR COUNTRY and many more..

Almost all AAMIR KHAN movies have enjoyment of life with sense of purpose. It shows that enjoyment is good, but only on the way towards your goal. Purpose of life should not be defeated and given secondary importance.

UNWINDING YOURSELF:-

As humans are not machines, they need to unwind themselves every now and then to make a change. Movies serve the purpose, by taking individuals to ride in the Fictitious world.

MUSIC, which has always the prime thing to look at, is an additional benefit we receive from movies.

So just enjoy life. Once in a while go for a movie and use it to your benefit.

Tushar.

TIME TICKING ON!!!!

October 10th, 2007

I don’t have the time to do that!!! I love to do that thing, but the busy days do not allow me to do so!!! I will do so if time permits!!!

Isn’t it a daily crap we hear??? Almost all of us (including me) believe that we are busy enough to do something or the other. We kill our hobbies and waste the time chit-chatting. Hobbies or things we love to do can give us far more PUSH, whereas the latter may give rise to stress and unwanted pressures.

TIME!!! The best way to display, that we are all blessed equally. We all have 24 hour day, whether we are Crorepati or Roadpati, sane or insane, well or handicapped or young or old. It’s only that we utilize it or waste it. As the well known economist and marketing philosopher said, “There is nothing worst than doing the work systematically and carefully, which should not be done at all.”

Some TIPS:-

I know even I am not good at time management, but as I am trying to be on the lines of managing the time, I will share those tips with you.

+ Write down your priority list. If you don’t prioritize your work, others priorities will creep in your priority list.

+ Learn to say NO. Your friends will surely understand you, or you may make them understand.

+ Never say, “I don’t have time”. Instead schedule it, though at the lowest of your priority.

+ At least take 15 mins out of the day to do nothing. Make this as unwinding time for yourself. This will act as a booster to spurt your performance.

+ Try to squeeze in the time for hobby or a sport to enhance your skills and relieve from stress. It has a multiplier effect.

+ Respect others time.

+ Respect time, or time will not respect you.

+ Don’t stop practicing your time management activity. Everything needs time. It will surely work out.

Tushar

Youngsters!!! Are they equipped enough???

When the world is Vrooming at an break-neck pace, are we sure that we leave enough of insight for the younger ones behind us?? The pace in which we live has been sometime or the other, then where do we find time to share the experiences or the adversities that we have faced during the time we tried something different (and are still trying every now and then)?

Today the future of any-country or say the world lies in the hands of youngsters. They are the prospective leaders, doctors, engineers, hoteliers etc…

Yes, this has been true that we and our superiors, have given the best of the things to the younger GENEXT, from i-pods to the best of racing cars available, but where do we put the uncanny knack to go behind something and get it. Even we got a legacy of some luxuries our parents dint get at their younger times, but they had put enough of insights in us and a whole-bit of enlightenment so that we don’t misuse the powers we have and to make the best of everything that comes in our way. Our rich culture which is about 10,000 years old is admired by the world, but we put them at stake whenever we have a choice.

We with our fellow young generations are the future and so it is only we that can make a difference and then make world a better place to live in. This also says that there should be a perfect combination of culture and futuristic view with the addition of experiences in the past. We should take the initiative at 1st place.

Yes what you thought is true… How can we make a difference???

I just thought of some and then came up with it.

+ We can write BLOGS on some matters, which the younger generation is looking for every now and then.
+ While being an alumni to your ALMA-MATTER, you can share the experiences and the current scenario at least once a year.
+ If we can, we should allow some summer internship, so that we can give a live experiences running in the market or
+Ask a friend, colleague or relative to have some interns.
( LET ME KNOW, IF THERE ARE SOME OTHER WAYS)

AVOID IT:-

+Including me, all the young generation do not like the lecture about do this, don’t do that; this is bad and this is worst and bla-bla-bla.SO avoid lecturing or bombarding them. They will not listen to you.

TRY IT:-

+ Try to bake a blend of multi-things that would interest them and also induce them.

MONEY!!! The sum of Life???

October 8th, 2007.

Hey!! I got a new FORD car for me, it’s real pleasure to have it!!! I have got a new CELLPHONE, with amazing Features!!! My bike goes faster than 50% of four wheelers!!!!

Haven’t heard this quite a while???

Yes, we do hear it every now and then. We have all yearned for this luxury and at the end, MONEY gets it for us.

We are taught that money is not everything, by the same teacher who is working at school and then taking classes to afford his luxury like a car or buy a dream bungalow.

We have heard lots many time that money can buy this and not that….(Almost 100’s to mention). But it’s true that world is in favour of material things than the spiritual.

As I notice the people coming out of temple, gossiping about some personality or cursing even the creator for the theft of their footwear, makes me realise that materiality has ranked ahead.

It’s better to see the people coming out of restaurants with happy faces and enjoyment, then to see someone out of temple.

Also, the MONEY factor has lured many to outperform a task than merely doing it. So it has a magnetic or say, an catalytic power, to catapult against one’s best self.

We say that 80% of world speaks and know English, but it is only MONEY language which can be spoken anywhere (almost 99% places) around the world.

As per my conclusions, MONEY might not be a Key to success but yes, if you have money you can get a KEY made for the success.

BEWARE!! Contagious BULL-SHITTING Spreading!!

October 6th, 2007

How often do we let other people's nonsense change our mood? Do we let a bad driver, a rude waiter, rude boss or an insensitive colleague ruin our day?

Mark of a good person is to focus on what’s important and leave aside the rest.

JO MUJHE SAARI DUNIYA NAHI SAMJHA PAI, WOH MUJHE EK TAXI DRIVER NE SAMJHA DIYA!!!
(don’t worry, it isn’t taxi meter!!!)

An Anecdote…
As I just moved out of the station, I took a taxi to reach a friends place, where I was scheduled to stay for next 3 hours and then continue for the rest of work at Mumbai.

Just thinking of the cranky kids and the sobbing women in train, I boarded a taxi. That had just pissed my mind, to start the day. Shit man, I thought, the day has started in a very bad fashion and I don’t want my work to get aside the way for every one else at the train.

Here's what happened next. The taxi I took of, just raced out of the station and then suddenly a sleek and speedy BMW jumped out of parking lot right in front of us. Taxi driver, Champ in handling these kind of mess-ups, jumped on the brakes. Taxi skidded and just missed back end of the sleazy BMW by inches.

Given, our brain can think 100’s of things in a flash of seconds, I thought a big fight and mess would come up with all taxi drivers involved in it.

Here's what happened next. The driver of the other car, the (hunk) guy who almost caused a big accident, whipped his head around and instead of
apologizing, started yelling bad words at us, as thought by me. And I thought the rest will follow….

But, here's what took me by surprise. Instead of getting angry or annoyed, my taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. He was actually friendly towards the other man.

Surprisingly, I asked, "Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!"

And, this is when my taxi driver told me what we can call now "The law of bull-shitting".

”Duniya Chance MANGTI HAI SAHIB, Diya to gaya!!!”

Many people are like rubbish bins. They run around full of garbage, frustration, anger & disappointment. As their bins pile up, they need a place to dump it. And, if you let them, they will dump it straight on you or say shit on you.

When someone wants to dump on you, do not take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well and move on. Break the Chain, if you don't who else will???

OR you become another rubbish bin - For, ATTITUDES ARE VERY-CONTAGIOUS !
And, you, in turn, dump it on your colleagues / subordinates / spouse and get
relationships spoiled!

Use it and make your and others life an enjoyable journey.

Nothing Working Right???

October 5th, 2007

Man my life has got Screwed!!! I am no where,, I will make no difference to the world and no one will ever notice me!!! I am Finished, all ruined no to get up again...

The above statement has been a common WORD OF CRY for the young ones. They get easily depressed and then they come to direct conclusion that in spite of laborious hours they give in, they fetch nothing, not even the word of appreciation. They would go ahead and curse the world and the institute they got the knowledge from, and not even spare the parents for their failure.

But life is beyond all that, but only if u think differently. So you can give a 2nd and altogether a different thought to it. Let’s hear a story about it.

STORY…

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy.

That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."
What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."

Do you all agree that the 2 things were one and the same.?? Yes they were!!

But the first sign simply told people to help by putting some money in the hat. The second sign told people that they were able to enjoy the beauty of the day, but the boy could not enjoy it because he was blind.

The first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story
1. Be thankful for what you have. Blaming will do no GOOD to any of US.
2. Try a second shot, or say think differently. Who knows, that might work far better. Nothing to loose except some efforts.

18K and Higher!!!

October 4th, 2007

QUICK BUCKS!!!!

I will not blame the youngsters, but the ZOOMING markets can seduce anyone to get in for making the quick bucks.

A friend of mine just came across and asked, I have some 20K with me, can I double it within a month from the share market??

I was aghast!!! What should I say, “STOP THIS CRAP”; “YES YOU CAN DO IT”; “FORGET IT, OR YOUR MONEY IS SCREWED” ???

Needless to say, the guy knew nothing about the shares and share market. He just knew that there is a sudden spurt in market and that he wants to make his bucks right away without much effort.

Just thought to share some things, I know about the market and also to clarify that am not that I-Know-Everything kind a person for share markets.

7 Must know things about the Share Market:-

1. The share markets are the riskiest place for Investing. They can build both Riches to rags and Rags to Riches stories. There are other investment alternatives like Bonds, Post office savings, Fixed deposits and Insurance, which are rather safe than shares.

2. When you buy a share, you become a part owner of the business, the company does. So, you are entitled to share the Profits as well as the Losses of your company. There isn’t guarantee that company doing well all these days will surely do well in future. Just like Humans… ENLIGHTEMENT CAN HAPPEN ANYTIME (at Either ways )

3. As you decide to do business or stick to a particular career, a long term venture, do the same with your shares. In short term you may loose your money, but in long term it seldom happens.

4. Deciding in which company to invest is a critical thing. You can go with the boom, or do bit of research of the future of Markets. Like 2002-2006 it was a boom for IT sector, now its INFRASTRUCTURE and BANKING, PETROLEUM also looking good. Then you can freeze on the strong company to invest in.

5. How much to invest is another big question. If you save 20% of income, reinvest 10% in your own business, invest another 5% in insurance, you are left with 5% of your income to be invested in shares. This is a relative formula, which can change from person to person as per their needs and financial goals. My only advice would be, invest at regular intervals.

6. Just don’t rely on any advice. Its simple as that, the advisor has known the things and that he has gained enough of profits to pour some losses in the scrip. For ex. When some one knows swimming, he just says to all, come guys, just jump in the pool, without realising, that others don’t even know to swim.. Do a bit of research and then you can.. And if you are tempted a lot, you can invest a part, like say 15% of your total investment invest in that. But still BEWARE!!!

7. Never be carried by the success stories of others making fortune on the earnings of Shares. Even they have suffered losses, but as usual, no one speaks of its losses (Failures). Make your own fate.
Happy Investing (and not Spending !!)

Bapu ki Jay ho!!!

As the Shane Warne got the Nightmares of Sachin Hitting him for sixes and Broad getting nightmares of Yuvraj hitting all his 4 four overs for sixes.. Bapu gave the Englishmen a nightmare without even a willow in his hand and his skinny body. Let’s pay tribute to the man of millennium, due to which we are breathing in Free country. Imagine if we were still SLAVES!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS

Hi friends, Congratulations!!!! We have completed 100 visits at this blog out of which 74 visits are unique. 8 visits per day isn’t a bad start. But zero comments makes me worried…

CAVEAT EMPTOR

Come the Festive season, the city markets are flooded with the fruits of all kinds, which are both seasonal and non-seasonal. But are the really healthy??? No doubt that the fruits are best the humans can get to survive for longer, but these days even they are being made unhealthy like the Junk foods we have every now and then.

There is abundant use of artificial agents and toxic chemicals used in ripening the fruits or preserving them, which are health hazardous.

Calcium carbide and Oxytocin used in artificially ripening the fruit are easily and also cheaply available in the market. Actually Calcium carbide is used for gas welding and Oxytocin is used getting extra milk from cattle. Oxytocin is used for giving a Fresh look to the fruits.

10gms of calcium packet is usually kept near the piles of 50kg bananas for a day to ripen it faster, whereas Watermelon and Papaya are injected with oxytocin. This helps the vendors to earn fast bucks.

Consumption of such foods may cause humans a bundle of diseases worst amongst which are cancer, damage to reproductive systems, and damage to digestive systems. To test the level of harmfulness (or toxicity) of these fruits, one can put the fruits in the aquarium and notice. As soon as the fruit dissolves the fish starts dying.

This also says, “All that Glitters is not Gold”.

MARKET WATCH

+ Call on CIPLA holds good. it touched 190 yesterday. Can book profits now. Sell on opening tomorrow.

Let me Guess your Age!!!!

October 1st, 2007

Don't disclose your age but you can do a small calculations for me??

If you don’t want to tell me your age its fine… but you can surely answer me, “how many times you have dinner in a restaurant in a month?” and I will guess your age.

Just follow this cool little steps and I will be able to ascertain your actual age without you telling me…

1. How many times do you eat your dinner in a restaurant in a month.
2. Now take this answer and multiply it with 2.
3. Add 5 to it.
4. Multiply the result with 50.
5. If this year your birthday has not passed add 1756 to the total, if it has already passed add 1757.
6. Now subtract the year you were born in from the total, so if you were born in 1970, subtract 1970 from the above total.
7. The last two digits is your current age.

Try the buzz and let me know if this works with you.

MARKET CALL

+If you had got CIPLA @ 175 for target of 185, I would suggest you to increase it to 194. Once it crosses 187 keep on increasing your stop loss to trail of rs 2.50, that way you won’t make any losses.

+Unitech has sure target of 400 by Dussera, but it can even trig before the Navratras.

+Rathi Udyog seems good buy @ 25.25 for target of 35 before Diwali.
